ESD Flooring Reconstruction of Old Surgery Room

Usually, the ESD vinyl sheet is popular used in the surgery rooms considering the anti-bacteria requirements. Because the size of ESD vinyl sheet is 2m*20m(Width*Length), and it is fewer welding rod seams during installation. But it is not absolutely. Different market customers have different preferences. We need ESD flooring reconstruction after a long time service. Here is a latest project case from our Korea customer, it is about flooring reconstruction of old Surgery room. It uses our esd tiles size 600mm*600mm, color xyd-601.

Here are the steps we should do and the installation pictures as reference:

Step 1:

Clean floors at the construction site

Step 2:

Remove severely damaged tiles and cover them with tiles and fragments of the same size.

Reinforce it, make smooth and constant.

Step 3:

Spread the conductive adhesive evenly on the floor and cure for 10 to 20 minutes.

Wait for the adhesion to rise.

Step 4:

Glue the tiles from the center line, and put a copper tape inside the tiles to ground.

Step 5:

Using a tile V-shaped cutter, cut about 2/3 of the floor to open V-Shaped groove.

Step 6:

Laying welding rods

Step 7:

Test electronic resistance and comparing ordinary old floors with newly built esd floors

Step 8:

Remove the dust on the installed floor and cover it with conductive wax
